Carbo loading because of these green beauties? Of course. That’s why I need to look into diet pill comparisons right now, haha!

We went to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in Antipolo last weekend. Truthfully, there are two other things I make a pilgrimage to every time I go up to Antipolo – no offense to Mama Mary, of course. One is for their fresh cashew nuts and the other for their unique suman (a kind of native rice cake wrapped in banana or palm leaves), like the one above. Too bad we couldn’t find some sweet ripe mangoes to go with it (its perfect pair) so we just stuck to good ole sugar. :)

i like suman esp. the one with lihiya or flavored ones sold in malls.. :) we’d also buy the thin ones you dip in sugar when you eat.
