Wifespeaks: Foodie Wednesday

I am a firm believer in the age old saying that: you don’t really know what you’re missing until its gone.

My family used to frequent Gerry’s Grill in Manila. It also helps that my sister used to work there, so we got a lot of freebies, too! Hehe! And then when we moved abroad, I began to miss not only Gerry’s signature sisig but moreso the experience of dining out with my whole family.

Now, the only way for us to eat at Gerry’s Grill or be with family, is to travel back to Manila or to fly coast to coast to California.

Here we are with my lovely aunts, my uncles, and my xbox 360 – addicted twin cousins.

And as you can see by our empty plates and what’s left of our crispy pata, we’re definitely in our comfort zones. :)

So I guess what I really wanted to say is, just enjoy whatever you have right now and be thankful that what you want (to eat) is just within your reach – because it can really be expensive to satisfy some unique cravings, hehe!
