Shopping Allowance…
(a) Hubby gives me on a monthly basis… (This is supposedly our norm because as a sahmmy, I don’t have anything to contribute finance-wise.)

(c) Non-existent.
(d) Depending on whatever’s left in the budget. (But recently, my allowance has been caught in the recession, too! So happy na ako with whatever lands in my eager pockets. Haha!)

The one kikay item that I can never live without, even if it’s worth my last penny is a tweezer. (Anti-bush, haha!)
The most expensive kikay item that I have or had, but I think is worth every centavo is an all-out facial treatment. (As in all-out. Because I have one only every two years, haha!)
The best place to shop for affordable but quality goods (in the US) is at:
For Clothes/ Bags/ Shoes: TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Ross.
For Gadgets: Best Buy and Costco.
For Books: Borders and Ebay
For Make-Up: Sephora, Target, and at the Outlet malls.
For Jewelry: Macys, hehe!
If you cannot afford a brand new Louis Vuitton, you will…
(a) Buy pre-owned ones at lower prices
(b) Save up and wait until you can afford it (Always have, always will.)
(c) Swipe the card anyway and think about the bills later

Who is the bigger spender in terms of shopping?

(c) Same. (Between my kikay items vs his gadgets? Its a tie.)
Have you ever splurged on something that was not really worth it? If yes, what item?
:: I honestly can’t think of anything. Hubby and I are not big “splurgers”. Before we buy something, we will think about it a hundred times over before we part with our moolah (especially if the purchase is a huge ticket item). If I am in the zone to splurge, hubby is my conscience – and vice versa.
Is there any kikay item or any gadget that you are currently saving up for, care to share?
:: Hubby and I are saving up for his new DSLR so that he can eventually pass on his old DSLR to me. Yey! As for my kikay item, I’m saving up for my lipo, hahaha! Jk!
Are you the type who goes to the mall, and can never leave empty-handed?
:: In a way. I usually leave the mall without buying something for me, but I can’t leave a mall without buying something for Ninna. Promise! It’s just so fun to shop for her.
