You can’t visit Atlanta and not drop by The Varsity. The hotdogs aren’t really all that (sorry Mr. Gordy!) but, you can’t beat the experience of driving-in at the world’s largest drive-in restaurant.

What’ll ya have! What’ll ya have!
Aside from it’s size, you might ask what other things make The Varsity special? Well, two miles of hot dogs, a ton of onions, 2500 pounds of potatoes, 5000 fried pies and 300 gallons of chili are made from scratch daily. And… Car Hops! That is, “Curb men” who would sing and dance their way to fame by singing the menu to customers.

Here’s what we had for lunch.

Chili Dogs (with mustard) and their famous Onion Rings.

The Chili Cheese Dog and Chili Burger combo. With rings, too.

My daughter’s Naked Dogs and fries. She had Varsity’s chocolate milk with that, too.

Their homemade apple pie and brownie for dessert.

My quarter of a brownie.
Now I can say I can finally scratch that one off of my life list.
