One of the things I’ve always wanted to do – that is, if I had a lot of money – is to travel using old-style trunks. I just find them so classy! I know, the airlines would probably charge me extra for the irregular shapes or sizes of my trunks but, that’s why I think I might need my own personal jet. Haha!
Anyway, the reason for this is I have been gushing all morning as I browse through the antique trunks being sold by Hermitage in Dallas.

- Vintage Goyard Steamer Trunk (ca. 1930)

I won’t even mention how much these vintage lovelies cost, lest I give every sensible traveler like you and me a heart attack. Let’s just say, you’ll probably need travel insurance for these beauties if you do decide to use them for your wanderings.:)
How I love trunks, I love designers, and I love antiques! Perfect!
