A couple of my girlfriends and I saw Twilight, the movie, the other week. And where else best to see it than at the AMC Fork and Screen.
It was a Tuesday and the very first morning screening when we went so there weren’t many people at the theater. Naturally, it called for a photo session, haha!
Theirs is a wonderful concept – in-theatre dining. As guests enjoy watching the latest movies, they also have the opportunity to order from a diverse menu of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and premium drinks, as well as traditional theater concessions.
Our appetizer, Sweetwater 420 Chicken Tenders, which are buttermilk chicken tenders dipped in Pale Ale beer batter and then flash fried. For drinks, we had Gold Peak Iced Tea.
Our main breakfast (haha!), SweetWater 420 Beer Battered Fried Shrimp, as we opted for something that we can simply eat with our fingers. It is Shrimp dipped in (again) Pale Ale beer batter and flash fried to golden perfection.
Because we were so engrossed with the ever-gorgeous Edward, I forgot to take pictures of our dessert, a Darkiccino Chocolate Brownie, which is a moist and fluffy dark Belgian Callebaut chocolate brownie served warm with a scoop of premium Häagen-Dazs coffee ice cream on top. I’ll just leave that up to you to imagine, haha! It was as divine as imagining Robert Pattinson in ultra tight equestrian riding apparel, I tell you!
It was a really fun outing for us mommies. Can’t wait until the next date!
