A friend of mine brought a platter of these yummy macaroons during one of our get-togethers. The first time I bit into it – I fell in love. I’m not much of a macaroon person (in the same way that I’m not very much into Harley parts) but, this one really got to me. So imagine my surprise when she told me that she actually bought these from our local Publix supermarket!
A few days later I trekked to our nearest Publix but found none. I stubbornly went to a few more branches, still none. And then, with all hope lost, a few days ago, I stumbled into a Publix supermarket that was so out of the way from our house and – guess what – eureka! 
Naturally, I grabbed a whole pack, haha! That was a really happy day.
