My family lives for spicy dipping sauces. The hotter, the better. (Allow our hemorrhoids speak for itself, haha!)
Back in Pinas, it was all so easy: spicy vinegar with lots of siling labuyo would cut it.
Here, it’s a totally different ballgame. With all the spicy sauces around, tongues are sure to be set afire!

For instance, here’s our staple Tabasco, alternating with its nemesis, the Lousiana Original.

Or a healthy dose of Piri-piri sauce.

Or a dash of Mexico’s Cholula.

Or a sprinkling of my number two all-around sawsawan, Thai Sweet Chili Sauce.
But what will always be my number one?

Tamis-anghang of my Jufran!
Now, if only I had a Max’s Fried Chicken platter and Piolo Pascual to go with it… ahh, muy caliente!
