Ang alon ng maling pagmamahal Ang s’yang kalaban n’yang mortal, Kapag dalampasiga’y nahagkan Ang kastilyo ay nabubuwal. ~~~ Wrote his name next to mine big and deep there in the sand Till the earth tends to flow and our names will be drowned All the birds sing harmonies to the top line of the breeze [...]

Tin Drum Asia Cafe has become one of my and hubby’s favorite places to eat out here in our area. The food choices are simple but flavorful, service is fast and no-fuss, and the servings are huge. My favorite is this one: Tin Drum Chicken. Chicken curry, spinach, with almonds over steamed rice. Yum! Meanwhile, [...]

Our apartment community put together a nice afternoon food tasting event today. I purposely didn’t cook any lunch because I purposely wanted to stuff myself silly with all the free samples that would be offered by the participating restaurants in and around our neighborhood. The details of the food tasting event deserve a separate blog [...]

images from louisvuitton.com (l-r: Jasmine, Speedy 35, Treillis) I am not one for camouflage. My husband knows it. As I always tell him (especially when he’s about to don one of his many cargo camouflage pants) that its better to leave the camos with the army guys. Besides, even with his camos on, I can [...]

image from neimanmarcus.com I want one. I love the soft black leather with Dior’s signature quilting and the logo charms. If I would be given any kind of bag from Dior, this would be it. Only, I think this would look better on my mom. Anyway, we could always share, right?

Shane’s Rib Shack

We were kinda hungry one weekend after church so we decided to really stuff up. Our destination was Shane’s Rib Shack, a nice family barbecue place at Perimeter Center. They have great menu of southern food (ie. bbq) and their homegrown sauce is their restaurant’s lifeblood (like what nike golf balls are to Tiger Woods). [...]

Bottega Venetta Illusion Tote

image from neimanmarcus.com Why illusion? Apparently, the rounded woven insets create the illusion of falling coils. (In unison, everyone: “oh i see!”). I love the cream leather and the dark silvertone hardware. I also love just seeing something that’s not entirely woven coming from Bottega Venetta. It keeps the people guessing: “is it? isn’t it?”.
