Before leaving Texas, we just had to. Marj, this one is for you.

There was a reason why I boxed up my pots and pans early - its a good excuse to cajole hubby to order take out from Pappasitos! Hehe! I mean, really, when you’re in Texas you just have to have great Tex-Mex!

We had nachos, their famosas fajitas, and morelia tacos. And lots of tummy air afterwards, hehe. Yummy!!

And then, the following night, we had dinner (for the last time) with our friends, wherelse but at Goode Co Texas Barbecue.

At first it was disconcerting to eat ala cafeteria style, but you really can’t beat the authenticity of it. Besides, the food was so worth it. Yeah, I wish we could have eaten there earlier. I’m sure it would have been a staple food for us.

Marj was right, the Pork Ribs were sooo good! As was the chicken, and the Potato Salad, and the Austin Baked Beans, and the Jalapeno Corn Bread. Especially the Jalapeno Corn Bread! And the sauce… yum!
